Description

The game keeps resetting your game file between play sessions.

Solution

This can be caused by corruption of your save file, and might mean you have to reset your save.

On Steam, you might first want to turn off the cloud save feature to see if it is causing the problem.

On consoles, the problem might only get fixed if you erase the save file using the console's tools.

Xbox One/Xbox Series S/X

  1. On Home, select My games & apps.
  2. Highlight the game, press the Menu button on your controller, and then select Manage game & add-ons.
  3. In the menu on the left side of the screen, scroll down to Saved data, then highlight the Ultimate Chicken Horse saved data for your gamertag on the right and press the A button on your controller.
  4. You'll be prompted to confirm deletion of this game save data. Select Delete everywhere.

PlayStation 4/PlayStation 5

  1. Go to Settings > Application Saved Data Management > Saved Data in System Storage > Delete.
  2. Select a game or application.
  3. Set check marks beside the data you wish to delete or Select All.
  4. Select Delete > then OK to confirm your decision.

Nintendo Switch

  • Go to the Data Management tab and select Delete Save Data
  • Find Ultimate Chicken Horse in the list and select it
