During playtests, we found the game felt way too punishing if a single trap knocked you out for the entire round. To keep races fast, fun, and easier to pick up - especially for newer players - we decided to have traps temporarily knock you out, but you get to respawn and keep playing.

That said, we know some players want more challenge - that’s why we added Hardcore mode!

In Hardcore mode, traps are deadly: if you hit one, you'll fall off your bike and be out for the rest of the round (similar to Ultimate Chicken Horse). We plan to keep improving Hardcore mode in future updates, including better solo and trap scoring.

To enable Hardcore mode, start a lobby, click the gear icon in the bottom-left, and check “Hardcore mode: traps are deadly”.
