Attar is the last name of one of our co-founders, Alex. The name initially got in the game because there was a Kickstarter tier where you could select the theme for a level. One of Alex's relatives, who owns a scrap metal company, made a pledge at that tier, and suggested the Metal Plant as a level for the game. We threw in the Attar Metals logo as part of the level art.
Later in the history of Ultimate Chicken Horse, Fabio was hired as an artist. He didn't know the origin of Attar Metals and thought it was just a made-up company with Alex's last name, so he introduced other references to Attar in levels - namely, Attar Inside in the Mainframe and simply Attar on the Canadarm in Space.
